Questions before you book

Furniture Disassembly FAQs

Practical answers about planning, access, packing and the information needed for a useful quotation.

Many suitable beds, wardrobes, desks, tables and modular cabinets can be assessed. Construction, age, visible condition and fixings determine whether disassembly is appropriate.

Hardware is grouped and labelled against the relevant item wherever practical. If existing fixings are missing, damaged or unsuitable, this is raised rather than replaced without agreement.

Fitted furniture is not the same as movable modular furniture and may require an appropriate specialist. Photos and an inspection are needed before any scope can be discussed.

Reassembly is included only when stated in the confirmed quotation. The destination access, intended position and furniture condition should be discussed before the move.

Some older flat-pack pieces weaken after repeated assembly. We can inspect the visible condition, but may advise limited handling or explain that the item is not suitable for routine disassembly.

Provide full photos, dimensions, manufacturer details if known, current and destination access, and whether installation is required. Mention damaged joints or missing hardware clearly.
